The ‘Startup India’ movement was initiated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi in the year 2015 with an aim to boost entrepreneurship at the grassroots level.
Under this vision, Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation (HARTRON) in association with MeitY, GOI; DITECH, GOH and industrial partners such as NASSCOM, IAMAI etc came up with a State of art HARTRON Innovation and Start-up Hub at Hartron Multi Skill Development Centre (HMSDC), Gurugram in the year 2018 to boost the skill to startup eco-system in the state.
What We Offer
The Centre for Excellence for Internet on Things (CoE-IoT) is in its third year of operations and is triggering innovation & entrepreneurship in the field of emerging technologies such as IoT, Robotics, Machine Learning, AR/VR, Drones, Artificial Intelligence etc.
Start-up Warehouse/Innovation Centre: Successfully completed first phase of three years of operations as per first MOU. The centre is one of the key ingredients of the Nasscom 10000 startup ware house programme where technology start-ups are facilitated and mentored to operate till they achieve self-sufficiency The centre is being re-invented for more outreach in the second phase of operations which will include virtual incubation.
Mobile Application Development Centre: Successfully completed first phase of three years of operations as per first MOU. The centre acted as a one-stop shop for all app-related requirements where Start-ups, entrepreneurs and developers could incubate, train, test and design their Apps in a collaborative approach. Proposal is underway for the second phase of operations.
HARTRON Innovation & Startup Hub has been established in a lush green campus of 3.5 acres area with built up area of appx 35,000 sq. ft. at HMSDC, Gurugram
The Hub is aimed to provide early stage technology start-ups with highly affordable plug and play co-working space and to foster Haryana’s Innovation & Entrepreneurial eco-system and further make the state a global start-up destination.
World-class shared infrastructure for 180+ Start-ups has been established for technology start-ups to operate till they achieve self-sufficiency.
Other notable facilities; High Speed Internet Lease Line; Power backup by DG sets; Conference room with a seating capacity of 50+ with Video conferencing; Event room with a seating capacity of 100+, common sitting spaces; ample parking space and other facilities are also being offered to the Start-ups in the Hub.
Flexible working of 14 hours a day, six days a week to harness the potential of young entrepreneurs and with an objective to take advantage of the global outreach of the city of Gurugram and build a strong eco-system for nurturing innovation and Startups in the country.
A high precision IOT hardware lab has also been established at Hartron Innovation & Startup Hub Gurugram. IOT is envisaged to use disruptive technologies like AI, Machine Learning, AR/VR, Big Data, Robotics, Block chain etc.These tools will help accelerate product development much faster.
Start-ups incubated in the Hub are working on different new age technologies which are bound to bring changes in the life of citizens through socio-economic impact, boost economy of the State and trigger employment generation for the youth.
Regular Events/ workshops/ mentoring sessions/Industry connects are organized to consistently work towards building a complete ecosystem in the state of Haryana for entrepreneurs to enable a journey from job seekers to job creators.

The activities at the Hartron Hub led to Haryana state being awarded as the Most Aspiring leaders award on Hon’ble Prime Minister’s dream project Start-up India by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Deptt. of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP,) Govt. of India under State Start-up Ranking 2018 and 2020.
